Does it work in Chrome, Safari and Slack?
Yes. InkHammy uses macOS Accessibility to see the text near your cursor, so it works in the apps you already use: Chrome, Safari, Slack, Mail, Notes, Messages and more. There's no browser extension to install.
What permissions does it need?
Accessibility, so Hammy can read and update the text field you're typing in. You allow it once in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. The microphone is only used while you dictate. Passwords and secure fields are never collected.
Is InkHammy free?
Yes, free to start. Sign in and Hammy checks everything you write, shows every suggestion, and fixes 5 typos a day on the house. Hammy Pro unlocks unlimited fixes plus rewrites, tones and translation for $9.99 a week or $99.99 a year (that's $1.92 a week). On Mac you check out securely on the web with Stripe.
Which macOS version do I need?
macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Hammy needs an internet connection for AI fixes.
Does it change my text without asking?
No. Hammy only underlines and suggests. Nothing in your text changes until you choose Fix or Fix all. Hover an underline to preview a fix first, or hold ⌥ in the review card to see why he flagged it.
Is there an iPhone version?
Yes. InkHammy for iPhone comes with a Hammy keyboard and a paste-and-fix app. Get it free on the App Store. Sign in with the same account and Pro works on both.
