These terms are an agreement between you and MindCrafters LLC (“we”, “us”) for the InkHammy app for macOS, the InkHammy app for iOS, the InkHammy keyboard for iOS and the InkHammy subscription service (together, “InkHammy”). By downloading or using InkHammy, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google. Keep access to that account secure, because it is how you get into InkHammy and restore your subscription. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use InkHammy. One account is for one person.
Subscriptions and billing
AI corrections, rewrites and translations need an InkHammy Pro subscription. Plans are $9.99 per week or $99.99 per year (US prices). The purchase screen shows the price and currency for your region before you confirm.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- iPhone. Purchases in the iOS app are billed by Apple to your Apple Account. Manage or cancel them in Apple's subscription settings, at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next charge.
- Mac. Purchases in the macOS app are billed by Stripe through a secure web checkout. Manage or cancel them from Manage subscription in the Mac app, which opens Stripe's customer portal.
- After you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds, failed payments or revoked purchases can end access earlier.
- Refunds. Apple handles refund requests for App Store purchases. For Mac purchases, contact InkHammy support.
- Your devices. Sign in with the same account on another iPhone or Mac to use your subscription there. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
- Price changes. If we change prices, we'll tell you in advance, and Apple or Stripe will ask for your consent where the law or their rules require it.
What InkHammy Pro needs
- iPhone keyboard: Allow Full Access for the InkHammy keyboard and an active subscription.
- Mac: Accessibility permission for InkHammy in System Settings and an active subscription.
- An internet connection for AI features. Local typing on the iPhone keyboard works without one.
Using InkHammy fairly
Please don't share your account or sessions, resell access, use bots or automated traffic, try to break or reverse engineer the service, or use InkHammy to break the law. To keep InkHammy fast for everyone, each account has a default allowance of 3,000 AI requests per rolling 24 hours. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Your writing and AI suggestions
Your writing stays yours. You give us permission to process the text you send only to provide InkHammy, as described in our Privacy Policy, including diagnostics.
AI suggestions can be wrong. Review changes before you rely on them, especially for anything important.
Disclaimers and liability
InkHammy is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for InkHammy in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Ending your use
You can stop using InkHammy and delete your account from the app at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (like disclaimers and liability limits) continue to apply.
Apple App Store terms
If you got InkHammy from the App Store, these terms are between you and MindCrafters LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for InkHammy or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the effective date above, and for material changes we'll let you know in the app or on this website. Using InkHammy after a change means you accept the new terms.
